Garik Avanesian Exhibition, Praque, Czech Republic

Born in 1959 in Baku. After Armenian-Azerbaijani actions he's been living in Kazakhstan (1988-1992) and in Moscow (1992-1994). Since 1995 he's lived in Prague (Czech Republic).

In 2003 he got AFIAP honor, and EFIAP 3 years later.

Photoclub "Khazar" in Baku, "Splav" in Kazakhstan and finaly "AFC Prague" has been Garik's inspiration since 1974.

In 1988 he becomes a businessman and almost stops taking photos. Only in 1995 as Garik comes to Prague, he plunges into his hobby again.

Since 2004 he has been actively working as an organizer or different Workshops, International Photo Meetings. Moreover he starts publishing his own magazine - PhotoArt, takes photos, exhibit his works and publishes in magazines all over the world.

Creative success

Individual exhibitions in Ukraine, Azerbaijan, China, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Austria, Slovakia, Argentina and 14 in Czhech Republic.

Organized few exhibitions in Kazakhstan.

Published a number of photo albums.

Since 2004 organizes Workshops in Armenia and Czech Republic, among them Inter Photo Camp (nude).

Published articles in photomagazines in Czech Republic, USA, Russia, Ukraine.

Has been a jury for several times. Participated in more than 350 Salons in over 30 countries; has 6 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals and cups.
